Redborne is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire. We achieve excellent examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining Maths and English at grades 9 – 4. A Level results are also very good with over half at A*, A or B grades and an overall pass rate of 99.9%. About 80% of the Sixth Form go on to university and each year a number of students get into Oxbridge. The school is well regarded, oversubscribed and situated in a very pleasant area of Central Bedfordshire, within easy reach of London. The campus includes a state-of-the-art 400 seat theatre and Sixth Form social area.

Geography Teacher
Full-Time – Permanent
MPS / UPS
Start date: 1st September 2025
We are looking for a full-time, dynamic and enthusiastic Geography teacher. Geography is a popular and successful subject with strong uptake for GCSE and A Level, results are consistently above the national average. Fieldwork is a strength of the department at all key stages. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to teach both GCSE and A Level classes, so experience in teaching both is required. A willingness and ability to teach other Humanities subjects would be advantageous but not essential.
The post would be suitable for both newly qualified and experienced teachers.
