Redborne is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire. We achieve excellent examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining Maths and English at grades 9 – 4. ‘A’ Level results are also very good with over half at ‘A*’, ‘A’ or ‘B’ grades and an overall pass rate of 99.9%. About 80% of the Sixth Form go on to university and each year a number of students get into Oxbridge. The school is well regarded, oversubscribed and situated in a very pleasant area of Central Bedfordshire, within easy reach of London. FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT AND OUTDOOR FACILITIES COORDINATOR

Redborne Upper School wish to appoint a determined, enthusiastic and highly motivated Football Development and Outdoor Facilities Coordinator. You will be responsible for the football development plan working closely with local football teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and highly motivated person to contribute to the delivery of football in the local community and further develop the school’s growing reputation.

Core hours to include a minimum of 25 hours per week 2.00pm – 7.00pm in the period September to March during the main football season. An additional 325 hours per annum to be worked during evenings, weekends and school holiday periods by agreement.

GRADUATE TUTORS

We are looking to recruit recently qualified graduates as Graduate Tutors for a fixed term from October 2024 - May 2025 to take part in our highly successful graduate tutor programme.

Graduates will provide English and Maths tutoring support for one to one and very small groups of disadvantaged students who have fallen behind in their schooling. We offer full training for the role. This role suits applicants with degrees that have significant elements of either Maths, Science, English or Humanities. However, we consider each application on its own merits. Candidates must be flexible, self-motivated and able to use their own initiative.

The Graduate Tutors will be based in one school in Bedfordshire for the duration of their contract.
